Annual Benefit Dinner and Dessert Auction
CF&CS of Wenatchee is happy to announce we brought in over $42,000 from our annual benefit this year.
A big thank you goes to our GOLD Sponsor Columbia Valley Community Health. We also thank our many BRONZE sponsors: Cascades Autocenter, Cashmere Valley Bank, Columbia Pediatrics P.S, Confluence Health, D.A. Davidson & Co, Health Alliance Medicare, North Cascades Bank, Numerica Credit Union and Patriot Plumbing, Heating and Cooling.
Thank you also to Fr. Tom Kuykendall, the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for hosting us in their beautiful hall and to our guest speaker, Jon Magnus, who inspired our guests to give generously. We also had 15 local wineries donate signature wines for our special guests and 29 individuals and businesses donate delectable desserts for our very successful dessert dash.
During the lovely dinner catered by The Ivy Wild, we presented our Bringing Hope to Life Awards. The 2014 Employee Award went to Lorena Miramontes. Lorena works with the Mental Health Service programs and has been with Catholic Family & Child Service since 2006. She was chosen for her tireless dedication in helping those in need who turn to us for help. The 2014 Community Partner Award went to Nancy Spurgeon with Wenatchee Valley College. Nancy is the Director of the Early Childhood Education Department and her work in the community is a vital partnership with us in serving the people of Wenatchee. Congratulations to both Lorena and Nancy!
All proceeds from the annual benefit support the Kinship Navigator, Valley Intervention Program and Volunteer Chore Services along with other wide-ranging programs at Catholic Family & Child Service which “Brings HOPE to Life” to those most in need in our local community. Save the date for next year’s benefit, March 14, 2015.
A big thank you to our GOLD Sponsor!
