Helps Educate Families

Organizing and training active Tenant Associations who identify what education programs are needed    
Access to computer lab, internet services and education
English classes and civics instruction
Financial literacy and home buyer education
Health care & pesticide education
Immigration law and worker rights

And provides services through activities such as:

Community room access for Tenant Association meetings
Social events including fiestas, cultural celebrations, baptisms and weddings
Meetings for the larger community
Counseling, medical and other services provided by local service providers
The Raíces Initiative Community Organzing Project seeks to empower residents & community residents by:
Inviting tenants from all projects to become members
Ensuring that tenants are the majority of the Board
Providing needed training and formation to the Raíces Board and membership
Assisting with goal setting, action planning and execution of plans to address tenant issues
