Our Directors Message

Throughout each of our lives there are points where that life – our talents, gifts & hearts – intersects & converges with someone in need. In that exchange of sharing, we all win.

Repeatedly in our journey, we are prompted to open our hearts and minds to how we can transform our community, making it a place where problems are prevented and solutions are identified for the challenges both hidden and in plain sight. In my position as Agency Director for Catholic Family and Child Service here in the Tri-Cities and Columbia Basin, I have treasured that vantage point.

It’s when you take a look at our “team” that things get really interesting! The talents of our interdisciplinary staff of 40, when combined with a 400 dynamic volunteers and 20 active Board Members and 1600 local donors …well, quite simply, it’s a phenomenal team to behold!

Through the collateral efforts of that team, we are able to provide Maternity & Adoption Services, Foster Care & Counseling, teen support, elder services, family & childcare providers assistance and crisis intervention, all in a holistic manner. We’re hoping you may want to join this team and bring your special gifts to the table. Our work is all about bringing hope to life to those most in need! Our motivation ~ Christ’s love ~ guides and drives us and heals both those who come to us for services as well as the hearts of those who serve them and witness just how broken lives can be.

Ultimately, one thing remains constant. You can make the difference. There are so many ways to help!

We’d love your time as a volunteer. You could help us with our Annual Gala Auction Event or KIDSDAY. You might care to donate a small financial contribution, maybe even a car or vacant home. And, of course, we always appreciate your gently used items for our Maternity programs. You could also make referrals! Nothing we do would be possible without you. Your gift, however small, most certainly will help someone else – someone truly in need of even the basic necessities.
