SEASONAL CHILD SERVICES

The Seasonal Child Care program provides licensed child care to agricultural working families who qualify.

Seasonal Child Care is a subsidy program that assists seasonal, agricultural workers pay for licensed child care.

We offer families and providers…

Screening and authorization of migrant agricultural workers looking for child care

Assistance with finding quality licensed child care

Technical assistance for providers on use of subsidies, training, and program development

To qualify for the Seasonal Child Care program, families must:

Not receive TANF

Be under 200% of federal poverty

Be employed no more than 11 months of the year with the same agricultually related employer

Have received 50% or more of the family’s annual earned income from agriculturally related work during the previous 12 months

Be currently employed in agriculturally related work

Provide documentation of income for the previous twelve months
