A Brighter Life for Adults Needing Care

Is your loved one finding it harder to remember names, places, facts or words? 
Is s/he unable to perform daily activities without assistance?

The Respite Adult Day Center gives frail or cognitively disabled adults the opportunity to make new friends and participate in a host of  enjoyable  activities in a safe and comfortable environment.  A team of caring staff and volunteers are present to provide  personalized support, encouragement and assistance to each participant.

By stimulating their minds, strengthening their bodies, facilitating creativity, nurturing their spirits and respecting their dignity, our goal is that  participants may achieve and maintain their own maximum ability.

The Respite Adult Center can also help your loved one feel happier, more connected to the  community , and more interested in life.

Activities for Participants

A social setting with "failure-free" activities that build self-esteem, encourage socialization, and stimulate cognitive skills
Mild chair exercises to promote range of motion and maintain strength
Special guest  entertainers

Occasional outings

Nutritious hot lunch

Routine health monitoring

Coordination of transportation

Much Needed Support for Caregivers Caring for a frail or disabled person is a challenging job!

The Respite Adult Day Center provides a period of much needed rest for family members who are caring for a loved one at home.  Secure in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving excellent supplemental care, the caregiver is able to enjoy some personal, renewing time which aids in improved mental and physical well-being.  The staff also offers support and community referrals as needed.
