Volunteer Chore Services

Volunteer Chore Services provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes.


All services are provided solely through the generosity of individual and group volunteers who donate their time and talents to help someone in need. VCS staff provide training, encouragement, and support to the volunteers so that together we can become a vital community of caregivers to our friends and neighbors.


Volunteers can provide valuable services such as:
Minor home repairs
Wheelchair ramps
Yard work
Shopping
Transportation for appointments and errands
Light housekeeping and laundry
Snow shoveling
 


You can request services if your are:
Over the age of 60 and low income
Between the ages of 18 and 60 low-income and disabled
